I always took them fully apart to clean them out when changing the oil but this time i'm not going to for reasons i won't go into. So i was wondering if theres something i can flush them out with that won't hurt the seals or anything?

Yeah, i thought of that but not using fork oil, as that would be expensive. I thought to use some cheap engine oil. But gotta be something better then that like keroscene or something that would cut oil/sludge.

Cool, i'll give it a go. That is unless anyone can tell me a reason not to b4 the oil arrives.

Well, i guess that'll work but damn....i looked it up and the damn stuff is almost and in many cases AS expensive as the oil itself. I thought kerosene would be dirt cheap.

Yes but fork oil won't do as much cleaning.

I looked up mineral spirits and it's effect on rubber and it is a concern. Too bad because it's cheaper.

Yes same over here, it used to be a cheap degreaser and fuel for many uses.
